CNC Turner (Setter, Operator)
Global Reach Staffing Solutions are looking for a CNC Turner for a growing business that specialises in sub-contract precision engineering services. Backed by on-site and external training courses (where required for CNC Turner Setter/Operator), my client develops employees and encourages growth and progression.
The Role - CNC Turner Setter/Operator
Sub-contract precision engineering – mild steel, stainless steel, super duplex, brass, aluminium, and plastic manufacturing
Program editing, Setting, and Operating (Fanuc + Manual Guide) CNC multi-axis lathes
Manufacturing quantities from prototypes to medium batch runs
Inspecting, using verniers, thread gauges and micrometers etc
Maintaining a clear workstation
Requirements for CNC Turner Setter/Operator:
Industry experience in a subcontracting environment; a familiarity with frequent, daily changes
Good experience editing, setting and operating CNC multi-axis lathes (Fanuc & Manual Guide)
Experience using CNC lathes with bar a feed system
The ability to change and reset machines multiple times per day, independently
Attention to detail; capable of detailed deburring and conducting first-off inspections using verniers, thread gauges and micrometers etc
Good work ethic: you’ll have demonstrated reliability, proactivity and loyalty in previous positions
Organised; the ability to multitask, looking after one or two machines, at any given time
